The new tasting room is now open! The winery opened its doors on Saturday, July 14, 2007.  We are located just south of Rochester, Minnesota.  Salem Glen is a family run winery producing local wines from local and regional grapes.  We are open 12-8 Thursday, 12-8 Friday and Saturday, and 12-5 Sundays. Other times are available by appointment.          ** On most days we now offer cheese boards  **      ** Sandwiches plates are available many Saturdays ** ** We requests that you do not bring your own food items ** Upcoming Events  Sept 4th  Music 2-5 Stop out and enjoy some great Dixieland Jazz with the Les Fields trio from 2-5. A winery and and vineyard tour will be offered at 1 pm. Cheese board available. Sept 10th Tapas Friday  5:30-8:00 Tapas Friday! This will be the first Friday that we will have tapas available. Tapas are smaller plate food items that can be shared and enjoyed with your favorite Salem Glen wines. Stay tuned for details.    Sept 11th  Grape Picking  8-12   This is the first chance for those interested in the picking to join up for this very hands-on part of the winery experience. Because we always want your experience at the winery to be enjoyable, picking is limited to between two and three hours (but we will pick rain or shine!). After picking we will serve appetizers and wine on the deck.  Picking will start at 8:00 AM and be limited to about 30 people.
